David Janson
 

David Janson has been a professional actor since he was nine years old. He appeared in the West End production of Oliver, the Beatles film A Hard Day’s Night and worked for the RSC. He spent three years in one of TV’s first soaps The Newcomers, and gained acclaim in shows such as Get Some In, Don’t Rock The Boat and Grundy. He played Herr Flick in the last season of ‘ Allo ‘Allo and Michael the postman in Keeping Up Appearances.
Stage work includes: Roll on Four O’Clock (Palace Theatre); Out Of The Crocodile (Sonning,); My Giddy Aunt, How The Other Half Love (Bromley); Time and Time Again (Windsor/Basingstoke); The Taming Of The Shrew (Finborough); Seasons Greetings, Taking Steps (Windsor); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Holland Park); The Ghost Train (Plymouth/UK tour); Run For Your Wife (Opera House, Jersey); What About Luv (Holland Park); and the musical of Jack the Ripper. National tours include The Golden Pathway Annual, Relatively Speaking, Don’t Start Without Me. Taking Steps, the Rivals, Watching, Absent Friends, ‘Allo ‘Allo (Also Dominion Theatre).
Pantomime includes Buttons in Cinderella (Canterbury); Dick Whittington (Bognor Regis); Aladdin (Shaftesbury Theatre); Aladdin (Bromley/Redhill); Pinocchio, robin Hood (Blackburn).
David directed Dick Whittington and Aladdin (Hastings); Jack and the Beanstalk (Croydon/Broley); Cinderella (Southend/Cardiff); David has directed over 150 children in Gala productions of Young Stars of Tomorrow, the tour of The Other Side Of Chris Barrie and a national tour of Alan Ayckbourn’s Absent Friends.
